Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
An interesting side note to this photo which if anyone can confirm or deny feel free to was that this car was normally driven by Super Mod legend Nolan Swift, but for some reason the car owner put Richie in it for this paticular event at Thompson.
The day before the feature event the car was sitting on jack stands in the infield with a crewmember working underneath it, when two cars tangled on the race track with one of them spining to the infield and crashing into the #10 Super and tragically killing the crewmember.
The owner considered withdrawing the car from the event, but decided that the fallen crewman wouldn't have wanted that so they ran the feature and Richie went out and lapped the field and ran away with the event.
