With defending Nextel Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart off racing midgets, Joe gibbs Racing turned to former NASCAR Modified Tour Champions in there quest for speed at Daytona.
"Magic Shoes" Mike McLaughlin, and Jeff Fuller tested four different cars for JGR, nboth placing among the top ten fastest drivers in pre-season testing.
The team is also helped by other former Modified alumni. Crew Cheif Greg Zippadelli worked with McLauglin on the NASCAR Modified Tour, and Team Manager, Bruce D'Elasandro, is a former Modified Tour competitor.

I took a look at the article thanks to a link over on MSS.com's forums, and I was pleased. Enjoyed hearing about the testing session and my cousin Bruce. (I'll shut up about that.)
