Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Ok, I'm in. Just doesn't seem right having a non-domestic in the line up. But I guess at one time or another unless your native american we were all non-domestics.
Next thing you know we'll be watching Jr in a Civic passing Gordon in a Suburu Wagon coming off 4 for the win! Just don't seem to be right.
Wait till Haka Lugi wins the WMT title in his dual 2.4L 4 bangers powered Corrola bodied modified before you give him a Mitzibeshi Cup win.
Whats next, they'll replace those red chile hotdogs at Martinsville with pork fry rice!
>>>>>>>>this will be next, yoshi mobosutzu wins the 2010 daytona 500 in a underweight toyota camry, i dont know whats worse,
john kerry for president or brian france for CEO of nascar???? bratty rich kid ready to ruined a 50 year old toy..... the toy has been abused already......
Hate to disagree, but "Brain" France, the logical, biological heir of the Nascar empire, gave the sport a shot of adrenaline with his marketing masterpiece, "The Chase". That bratty kid as you called him scott, made a proposal that originally needed some expert tweaking, but was certainly profitable for Nascar. He performed his job, which is ultimately to make money. Unlike many born into the legacy of corporate ownership, he is not just a "figurehead", but actually a hands on employee of Nascar. And like it or not, Nascar is a business, it's mission: profits.
So apparently, adding an Import to the manufacturer's lineup was not a decision based on fan pleasing, but again, it was a profit-based one. Might be cliche' but: Hate the Game not the Player. If you were in his shoes as a successful business man, you would have made the same choice, race fan or not.

im back on the boards after a absence due to my internet impolder acting up........... got it fixed........ now heres what i was getting into.......
1. the sport/nascar has taken a turn in which we dont know what is happening from 1 day to the next,
2. i do approve of mixing up the action a bit, but not in a way the chase has brought to our attention but in my opinon it has been over rated because after july mrfumble himeself bill weber says CHASE CHASE CHASE every 3-4 words untill the last lap at homestead in NOV, i dont think the chase shhould belong in the title run because i am waiting for the day that the 10th place driver runs away with it and your gonna see other drivers squeling like pigs on how the CHASE burned them after race 27..... bottom line is that the season should go 36 race no matter what, no conispation prize<1 mill for 11th> and if you were ment to win the title then so be it.....but if you were ment to choke, at least you choked for the year, but back to the chase thing, is there play off senerios being talked about at the allstar break??? week 8 of NFL? or all star game in the NHL? no, the announcers are reserved in that degree..... i think nascar has taken this alittle bit too far....... and this is what i see happening if nascar goes further down this path........
1. to us old school fans its "lets see how far we can press them," deal, my father has stopped watching nascar races and right now i tend to listen more than watch now......
2. the new fans will get bored with this consept and drop nascar like a bad habit and nascar will have nothing gained in the future......
3. cost of racing has driven this sport nuts now...... we have already seen what it has done to local regions, the car of tomarrow is gonna the the final nail because it will be dragged on for 3 years in phasings, back in 1981 the downscaled cars where phased in 1 race....... but again it was 25 years ago....
4. like i said in 1. the newer fans are getting into the sport because of the drama that is happening in the last couple of years......town stewart saying hes gonna crash biffle next week if hes not careful etc etc, or on how looks..... "i like jeff gordons car looks because its resembles a rainbow," that i heard at a bar 1 night, not my the talent of these drivers but these people that just tune in and watch drama, if i wanted to see drama i would watch law and order SVU.....
about brian france, im sticking to my opinon about him because hes about to ruin what made this sport WHAT IT WAS 3 YEARS AGO
