Just An Idea

Now that the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tours will be competing in a combination event at Daytona International Speedway, I was thinking about this idea. The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour competes at Charlotte Motor Speedway and has competed at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Why not start some ty...

the showdown
(Preview)
You have to be kidding me $50 to watch a modified race? I'm not even thinking about going. I would go if... The tour races should be 75 laps each and then 50 laps for the showdown - $25 addmission and you won't be able to find a seat anywhere - they would sell more food and beer at the concessions to double th...

Tough Luck
(Preview)
You have to feel for Andy Petree. Comes to NHMS for the first time and qualifies fifth, was nearly among the top-ten in finaL practice and gets wrecked. The team could not make repairs and had to miss the race. Hope he attempts Bristol and the other two NHMS events.

Should The Tours Go To SK Type Modifieds ???
(Preview)
With the lower and lower car counts and the rise of SK Type Modifieds I feel the NASCAR Whelen and Whelen Southern Modified Tours should go to SK Type Modifieds. I can almost guarantee increased car counts. I also feel that the purses could drop allowing more tracks to afford hosting an event. The costs...

Major Letdown By NASCAR (Big Surprise)
(Preview)
You would think that when they arrange TV packages for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tours it would be for more than a year. Say for instance like they do with the Sprint Taxi Cabs, Nationwide Pretend Muscle Cars and Camping World Tonka Trucks. I am pretty let down that the division had higher ratings tha...
