ASA SOUTHERN MODIFIED RACE TOUR RETURNS TO FRIENDSHIP MOTOR SPEEDWAY FOR FRIENDSHIP 150
(Elkin, NC): The stars and cars of the ASA Southern Modified Race Tour return to Friendship Motor Speedway this Friday night for the second event of the young ASA Modified season.
Burt Myers claimed the win in the season opener at Friendship last month out-distancing his younger brother Jason and a fast closing Jay Foley to earn the trip to the Friendship winners circle.
The Myers brothers and Foley along with many more of the areas best Modified drivers are expected this week. The King of the Southern Modifieds, Junior Miller, heads the list of challengers. Others on the list include Kevin Powell, Brian King, Gene Pack, Josh Nichols and Susan Harwell. Kevin Wilson, Darel Krentz Steve and Brody Jones and Jason Trinchere are also expected to be on hand for the 150 lapper on the lightning fast asphalt at Friendship Motor Speedway
