Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
ok, heres a question. in 2003, driver Jay Miller was having a career year, running top 5 in point at Stafford and top 10 and the Bowl, when he was hurt in a crash at the Bowl in early July. What driver got into the car the next week, and finished the year in the car, running very well. also, as a bonus, which i doubt anyone will get, which former driver from the 70's and 80's owned the car? hint, it is not his father Ray.
Yeap, current WMT points runner up Zach Sylvester took over for Jay and ran great, finishing 11th in final points with nearly half the starts. Zach still helps Jay now when he can, spotting for him when Zach available. Also, anyone want to attempt the second part? Heres another hint. This mod driver never did that well in mods, but ran well in sportsman modifieds down south on the big tracks. He also owns an auto body shop in his hometown of East Granby, CT.
