The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Banquet will be held at the Mohegan Sun Casino December 16th, Hopefully , the 2006 Tour schedule will be released. It will be interesting to see if Seekonk, Jennerstown , and Beech Ridge return in 2006. Among the rumors are races at Myrtle Beach and possibly North Wilkesboro. Motor Mile Speedway is another track circulating the rumor mills. We will have to wait and see I guess. It also would be nice to hear about a TV deal. The costs of hosting a tour event continue to rise , a TV deal would definitely help tracks attract sponsors for Tour events . something needs to happen , or the tour will be nothing more than Stafford , Thompson , Waterford , NHIS, and Martinsville.

Jennerstown will not be back next year, not going to pay that high of a purse when they can get the same amount of fans for a different series at a lot less cost.
