Microsoft’s Windows Live OneCare team has joined Best Buy Racing in sponsoring the No. 66 Haas CNC Racing Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS and driver Jeff Green this weekend.
The No. 66 Windows Live OneCare Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS will compete in the Neighborhood Excellence 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway on Sunday, June 4.
Best Buy, who is the primary sponsor of the No. 66 Haas CNC Racing Chevrolet in a number of events this season, is a featured retailer of Microsoft’s Windows Live OneCare service, a computer care service available to consumers on Thursday, June 1. As an added convenience for customers, Geek Squad® Agents will be available 24/7 to install Windows Live OneCare in-home or at Geek Squad Precincts in Best Buy Stores.
The car, which was unveiled at a press announcement last Sunday at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, features a blue oval with the number “1” on the hood, representing the OneCare brand. In addition, there is a Windows Live OneCare logo on the rear quarter panels, and a smaller Best Buy logo just behind the rear tire.
This marks the first time in Microsoft’s history that the company has been the primary sponsor of a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series car.
