Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Ronnie Silk experienced the highs and lows of racing on the Whelen Modified Tour at Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway. The Tour rookie had a very impressive qualifying run, posting the fifth fastest lap and the re-drew the pole position. He ran near the front for much of the early stages of the race, running as high as second. Silk was black flagged on lap 80 for a water leak, which woul eventually lead to him losing two laps. Silk still managed a Top Twenty finish and along the way showed that he has what it takes to run with the "big boys".
