Sorry everyone but I probably will not have full results tonight. Having a little problem with the phone. I just wanted to once again thank everyone. Myself and the site founder were pondering if this was even a good idea just last night, and as you can see we decided to go for it.
You can bet we are sure glad we did. Thanx again. -WMT-

Yes someoene caught my first goof of the night. Rob Summers was #11 and Vinnie Annarumo was #12, guess I am a little tired. Thanx for pointing that one out.

Well well! All I can say is wow, and thank you to WMT, and Scott for handling thing's on this end and to Mr Walt Newcomb from MSS, and Racersbored for sending some viewers this way and of course all they do for our beloved sport in general and all the Making Laps members and anon's that stopped by.
It was a great night of racing at the Konk, and I don't care what anybody say's that track should have Mod's as part of their weekly show period. Decent field of cars, a very good crowd, nice weather, what more could you ask for?
Once again, thank's one an all for making this night on the forum a rousing sucess!
ANON, to bad you weren't satisfied, I think they did a very good job for their first time and it was much better than nothing. As for the driver bashing, no one can predict what some one will post before they do and everyone has their own opinion, just like you have yours. You bashed the people that brought us the race updates, how is that different than driver bashing. This is a very good site and we have fun here but they keep it civilized and do their best to keep it clean and non-argumentative. If you look, one of the moderators stepped in immediately to quell the bashing. Hope you change your mind and come back and enjoy the racing information & discussions we have on here.
Sorry you feel that way Anon, we gave heat race results on the qualified car's, as well as the consi's. A starting lineup was posted, and we gave periodic update's throughout the race as we never promised lap by lap coverage, and if you can find a full finish somewhere right now of the event please post it as I am curious to see it also. If you consider what was said to be "driver bashing" (And for the record as you can see, one of are moderator's threw in a freindly warning anyway) with all due respect, you must live in a shell.
Now I like to get up on my soapbox for a minute if I may. The thing that has alway's cracked me up to no end is how whether it is this site, or any of the other site's out there that put forth the effort to do these live update/ result's thread's, ie pay there way into the track, use their cell phone minutes, the person taking the call's cell phone minutes, or home phone minutes and the $$ the owner of the respective web site's spend's to have the site up in the first place to for among other thing's have a place for people who can't make it to an event to go to get info on an event, and people will still come on an be a critic. What I say to them is next time buy a ticket and go to the race.
Thank you very much Rabitt for the atta boy. We used to do weekly live results updates from SMS, Thompson, and Waterford but due to work commitments and other issues we have not been able to do so this year. We plan on doing some more special events throughout the year and possibly some select weekly events at SMS,TIS,WSB. As far as the WMT event's, everyone needs to go no other place then MSS, as Walt and company have set the bar for live results.
thats stupid that they didnt give kirk a penelty and let him go on and win the race...
I JUST WANT TO POINT OUT THAT IF NASCAR DOESN'T GIVE A PENELTY IN A NEXTEL CUP RACE (GORDON/KENSETH) THEN WHY WOULD THE DO IT IN A LOWER DIVISION?
I THINK THAT EVERYONE DID A GREAT JOB LAST NIGHT WITH THE UPDATES. I LOVE THE MODS..BUT LIVE IN NC AND ENJOY ALL THE SITES THAT COVER THE MODS BECAUSE THE MODS DON'T GET MUCH PRESS DOWN HERE.
Actually Cyds, this wasn't sanctioned by NASCAR, so that theory doesn't really apply. The race director must have thought it was a racing deal, and let it stand.
I was at Seekonk for the race what a great show all three classes put on. Not to bash Teddy but all the times he's pushed his way to the front this time he was on the other end of the deal. I bet if T.C. was in second he would of done the same thing after all it was for $ 10,000.
It appeared that 00 checked up and 43 bumped. 00 spun, therefore went to the back. It wasn't as if anyone was trying to take anyone out. At that same moment, there was another incident happening in turn 3. That's just the way it looked to me, but I'm no official.
I have to say that all of the teams and officials did a fantastic job! They all presented themselves very well and put on a great show!
